Buying a collar online can feel like a bit of a guess.
Too loose and it can slip over your dog's head. Too tight and it's uncomfortable for long walks, swims, and days on the trail.
The good news is that getting the right size only takes a minute.
What You'll Need
- a soft measuring tape
- or a piece of string and a ruler
Step 1 – Measure the Neck
Wrap the tape around the widest part of your dog's neck where the collar naturally sits.
The tape should be snug but not tight.
You should be able to comfortably slide two fingers between the tape and your dog's neck.
Step 2 – Compare to Our Size Guide
|
Size |

Small Medium Large |
9-15" 12-18" 15-21" |
If your dog falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
A Few Tips
- Measure your dog while they're standing.
- If they're still growing, leave a little room.
